Gas welding with Dillon's 0.5 bar system
Gas welding gives soft, workable seams you can hammer, file and planish — no other welding process reaches the same result. Dillon is built for low-pressure welding: 0.5 bar produces a soft concentrated flame, runs entirely without electricity, and tackles materials that MIG and TIG can't.
Why ordinary high-pressure gas welding is difficult
Traditional oxy-acetylene runs higher pressure and produces a turbulent flame that scatters heat everywhere. This makes thin sheet difficult to weld without deformation, and precision work becomes risky.
Dillon's unique 0.5 bar system — why it works
Dillon's mixing chamber blends oxygen and acetylene at exactly the same low pressure — 0.5 bar on both gases. The result is a soft, laminar flame without turbulence: the heat stays where you point it, and the seam stays soft and stress-free.
What you can do with Dillon
Weld
Steel, stainless, aluminium and cast iron up to 8–10 mm.
Braze
Bronze and brass — including brass brazing onto cast iron.
Heat
Rusted nuts, bending and straightening without deforming what surrounds them.
Cut
Straight cuts in steel up to 25 mm with cutting attachment and guide.

Advantages of Dillon's low-pressure gas welding
Runs without electricity
With the bottles you have a complete workshop — out in the yard or in a shed without 400 V.
Soft, workable seams
Unlike MIG you can hammer, file and planish Dillon's seams just like the original sheet.
Cheaper to run
Efficient combustion means the torch uses considerably less gas. The bottles last noticeably longer.
Standard Kit or Pro Kit
Standard suffices for hobby and general craft. Pro gives 8 tips, extensions and acetylene/air tip for lead loading.
